Wet interior
I recently experienced some heavy rains where I live and some rain got into my interior because a window was open just a touch. Now there's a musty smell that I'm not sure how to get rid of. Can anyone offer some suggestions?
Thanks!
Thanks!

I accidently left the rear window cracked a bit over night and it rained in the rear cargo area. I had to pull the rear carpet and let the wet padding dry for a few days. I put Frebreeze (sp?) on it when it was dry and reinstalled evrything. The smell is much better now and I only get a whiff of it on hot days.

When I dropped in a hole while driving down a stream bed road and water came in the doors it was a mess. The smell was so bad you couldn't stand it. I pulled the water out of the carpet with a wet and dry shop vac. Then I tore raised up the carpeting and set a fan on a stool outside pointing at the floor boards and under the carpet. It did dry and I sprayed with a chemical made just for that smell that I bought at Napa. The smell was gone in a few hours but I let it air out two days after it was dry . Mike
