I sometimes watch this show on MTV called "Pimp My Ride" where they take some beat up vehicle and put the latest and greatest stuff in it. I've noticed several times what appears to be a 4Runner in the West Coast Customs shop. It has been there for a while. Anybody know who's it is or what is going to be done to it? Here's a pic:

i noticed it's actually changed a bit since the 1st season, the bumper i think.

 

People are always asking me if my truck was done by Pimp My Ride. Not sure but I'll take that as a compliment...

 

I always see it and it irks me. How about they the 4runner off the rack and do some work on it for a show. In fact I've never seen any 4runner on any show.

 

I was searching for pics of the 4runner and found this so I thought I'd login and answer the questions.

Ryan originally started building minitrucks in a small shop in LA. I visited him and the shop back in 2000. That 4runner was there and I have several pics of it. It was on the cover of Minitruckin magazine years ago.
