Today, I get in the runner, start it up, set the gear selector in reverse and...............nothing. I let it warm up, thinking maybe it's too cold. I knew that was ridiculous since I've run it in weather 30 degrees colder before without a problem.

I checked to see if it would shift into 4wd.........nothing. No familiar engaging sensation, no little green light in the gauge cluster. Now I'm getting concerned.

I checked the fluid level. It was cherry red and clean, though it seemed a little low on the stick, but not alarmingly low. I had done a fluid change and pick-up screen cleaning 6 months ago. I decided to top it off, just in case.

Apparently that was it. I put it in gear and checked to see if it would engage the 4wd. It did so I was on the road.........Strange stuff.
