weird squeak

i have this weird squeak that comes from under my truck. sounds like towards the front. it happens when i shift. if im stopped, and i take off quick, its a loud SQUEAK... and if i let off the clutch and down on the gas slow, its a soft squeak. it doesnt happen all the time. try to think wat it could be. im maybe thinking its the traction bar????? i was going to remove it and then drive it around the block. but any other suggestions? could the tranny squeak?

thanks

I have a noise that is similar to this. Basically what happens (usually only in the low gears), when I don't let off the clutch fast enough or I give it too much gas while I'm letting off the clutch, that noise ensues until the clutch is all the way out. Are we talking about the same thing?

Are these noises external and being caused by your engine torque moving something? From your description almost sounds like it's the clutch itself. A bad throw out bearing will howl like that.

rpeAMP it seems like its what you said. but it doesnt keep squeakin until you let off the clutch complete. it only lets off a quick soft/loud squeak. it sounds like it could be coming from the engine torque moving something. UK, could my clutch squeak?... a bad throw out bearing, is that REALLY bad? do i need to get a new clutch soon?

thanks!

hey guys... i had an annoying noise similair to this, and it turned out to be the slave cylinder pushing on the fork that comes out of the bellhousing (not sure what thats called) I just put some grease where the piston hits the fork and it shutup. anyways...get near that slave cylinder and have a friend push the pedal.... maybe this is the same problem
