I recently started hearing this weird noise. Its hard to describe I think its only the drivers side front tire and it only happens Right after I start the truck and its cold and only if the manual hubs are locked and only when I turn. sorry for the rambling any suggetstions. I did just crank up my torsion bars a few days ago the gap from wheel rim to fender is now 14.5inches. I may just turn them back down and go back to ADD its much more easy.

 

maybe its your steering stops..............quick way to check is just dab some grease on them and see if the noise goes away.

its good to start with the cheapest stuff first

 

It happens when I turn even a little and only when the hubs are locked. Could it be those. It goes away after I drive even a little and the car warms up.

 

have you checked your cv boots?? make sure none of them are cracked or open..............

sorry, just trying to take it step by step.....and do the easy stuff first

 

the drivers looks alright. Any other ideas?
