Has anyone removed and installed a windshield washer reservoir on a Taco? Are there any write ups floating around, i checked the manual and no luck. Mine has fallen apart. Thanks.

ARB if you have an auto parts store like Pep boys or autozone near you go look in the haynes manual really quick shouldnt be to hard to remember how to get it out.

I do not believe replacing the reservoir will be a difficult task. I was looking at mine the other day, on a 4Runner, because I am experiencing some problems with the pump for the rear. Most everything attached should come right off, and it looked like it would just unbolt. The one thing I did not get a good look at was clearance for the filler neck when the reservoir is removed.

Many apologies. Some times the 'd' on my laptop does not work. In this case, the spell-check function did not catch the grammatical error.

 

if it is the same as the 4runner, there should be an access panel in the right wheel well. remove bolt(s) and pop it off. as for getting it out, just get up in there and look around, find the hoses, pumps, wires, etc, disconnect, unbolt, and drop it all out. shouldnt be hard. you may have to remove the wheel to remove it.
