Don't feel bad, I did the same thing. Got up one saturday earlier this winter to go to a concrete canoe practice and my windsheild was frosted. I figured I'd wet it and go, since I was late. Didn't scrap it or anything, which I usally do to save my wipers and just hit the spray.... Nothing. It was frozen solid and I was driving with a totally frosted windshild I had to pull an Ace Ventura and stick my head out the window to make it across town. But it worked just fine once it warmed up, I was worried I screwed up the pump but I can't see any problems yet.
Change your fluid and your good

Most use snowshoes and use the Vodka to keep them warm.
