I love number 4 but I do have a suggestion. When the sticker is printed, make it without the black background. Just use the white "Yotatech" logo.

I would be proud to slap that on my virgin back window.

I think I just voted for the wrong sticker. I think the poll does not follow the way the stickers are listed. I want the one that just says "Yotatech" on white, with the bold line on the top and the bottom. I voted for "three red lines" because it coinsided with sticker #4. Can I change my vote or can the poll be fixed?

yeah , i planned on just using the white letters and the red slashes.... the black is kinda like a tinted window, and i couldnt use white letters onwhite background. hehe

I hear the request for sticky but it will be good to have one thread sticky and one bounce up and down on its own to help gauge interest.

That said, this sticker issue has gone on long enough with no action. I think somone should go and have some stickers made. If you make the investment and just make them you would likely make some cash from them. No one will get rich selling Yotatech.com products but you might make enough for a small mod or 2.

There is something more philosophical here than just what sticker design is best. There is an underlying financial issue that has not been addressed. yotatech.com is not a protected tradename or copywrited in any way as far as I know. Its not a comercial enterprise. Its no ones intelectual property. There is no liscence required to produce and sell Yotatech.com merchandise. Someone just do it already.

I'm speaking on my own behalf, not necessarily on behalf of the creators and 'owners' of Yotatech. Just my oppinion fellas, what do you think?

I too much rathe have a static sticker than a normal adhesive, that makes .04, if you add CLin9383 and I together.

voted for 5. Great design. 4 comes close though, too.

Are we still going to have several colors to choose from? My vote on that goes to blue (I can live with white though). Although it doesn't make much difference to me, I would really like the static sticker too.

Well, have fun.

I guess I'm the first one with YOTATECH decals on my truck. And no, they are not Photoshop pictures. I put the actual decals on few min ago.

Actually if you guys want, I will be able to do those on Vinyl (like the decals people put at car shows) in solid colors for $3 or so each on the small ones. Logo 4 and 5 are the ones I can do without any problem. No minimum, no setup charge, and I can do different colors. I can even do etchmark vinyl so it will look like sandblasted logo on your glass with a little higher price tag to cover the material. I can also do different sizes, from something that's few inches big to something as wide as your windshield or even bigger.

If that's what you guys want, I'll need

1. OK from Corey

2. Actual artwork in vector, or at least the font file

3. I don't want to make any money on those, and this is my way to return what the forum helped me with. I do want to send certain percent of the money I'll get to yotatech.com, and hope that can help the expense of the forum a little bit.

Let me know what you guys think!!

Jeffrey

It may be too late but I slightly modified an earlier mentioned decal. Heres what I got.

Later,

jeffrey, those decals look good. i'm curious, how did you make the decal? like with the one i made, the yotatech with bold bars above and below, #5, did you just save the .jpg from the board here, or make a new one in photoshop and save as a different type of file? i was thinking about printing some too for the board...

just realized this is my 100th post. woohoo!

Rowan, I'll check with Corey later today!! If everything is OK, I'll be able to start working on it right away.

Dave, do you have the design in vector format (EPS, CorelDraw)? That will make things a lot easier.

Calrockx, what I did was saving the file in JPG, and then use CorelDraw to trace the file and make it vector format. I then sent the file to a vinyl cutter and the machine cuts the decal for me. I didn't spend much time "cleaning" the traced logo so lines are not smooth as you can see in my picture.

It seems in some un-official way that we have got 2 winners and I guess we could start ordering from Jeffrey. I think that two options is okay, it stll keeps unity and uniformity if there are only two types for the forum to choose from. I feel that we do need to restrict color options to about 3 or so. I say Red, Blue, and White, seems to fit the bill when it comes to what people want. I'm really wanting to see Corey get in on this and hear some of what he thinks about all this. This is cool, we finally are getting somewhere.

I really applaud Jeffery for wanting to donate any profit back to yotatech.com that is really cool, and makes this whole deal even better for us as a group and makes it feel official. Thanks again Jeffery.
