I recently purchased a second 4runner a few month back and it already had an aftermarket turbo muffler installed. This muffler has been giving me headaches and I finally want to change it out. I have been looking at the walker and bosal direct bolt in kits. Does anyone know what the difference between the two is, and does one perform better than the other. I have been reading through the threads for some time know, but haven't found a comparison one.

I don't know if your going with walker because it's basically as quiet as a OEM replacement but here's a thread I started looking for quieter options.

I was really looking to go back to oem level sound.

 

I know this is about a year old but I just really want to share my opinion regarding this stuff. Well, then, I was for walker mufflers but now, I've finally appreciated bosal muffler. The sound is so smooth and clean. although often times it still a matter of what fits your car most.
