Where is Central Virginia? I am trapped in Norfolk and this place is even worse than the last time that I was here in 1999. Luckily for me, I am only here for a couple more days and I go back to Washington State.

I live in Rawley Springs Va. Which is 20 miles west of Harrisonburg. Im 10 mins from George Washington National Forest. We have several good trail's here. Anywhere from mud to rocks, easy to challenging. Also 30 mins from Big Boys Playground OHV & an hour from Crozet offroad park.

Issues, that is most excellent!! We will definately have to get together sometime for a run. I live down here for a year in the national forest a couple minutes away from where Shoe Creek Road is near the fish hatchery. I'll let ya know when I am able to go for a stroll.

I am in Hampton Roads but I go to the mountains & central VA once a month.

Check out my post in the trip planning section. We've got a ride and rock show planned at the end of March.

I'm found in Blacksburg from time to time. Lots of nice trails and not so nice trails up the Jefferson Nat'l Forest.

My bro and I both have Tacos, his with all-pro coils overs and all that, mine with a set of revos and a lift after I address traction issues. We go to GW a few times a year and are looking for some new friends and trails to find. Lets all set a date for a yotatech VA get together and show off our trucks and see the great outdoors.

Cool...if you guys want to get a big group going, let me know. You NEED to go see the Drive By Truckers in Richmond that Friday night too. :-)

They freaking RAWK!

OK...back to 4x4s....we usually night-wheel the main Shoe Creek trail Friday night. Sat AM we hit the harder obstacles in the daylight. Sat afternoon we head for Flagpole Rd near Bridgewater, VA.

Hey man...where are the trails near Blacksburg? I've wanted to find some new stuff or maybe have someone lead me in.

Can you give me some details?
