Is that the remote start one? If it is, try to start it manually. Mine acted funny alittle also a plug ceom off of the brain. But mine is a stick so I can still drive it around. Hope this helps...sorry if it doesn't.

I had a 600 ESP Viper system installed in my truck last weekend. It has been working great so far. Did you install your system yourself or did you have somebody do it? If somebody did it they should cover the problems that you are having.

check your ignition 3 wire

If a shop did it, go back there!

It sounds like someone inadvertantly cut the Ign 3 wire instead of the starter signal--which would cause the no tranny problems. if not, then well that really sucks!! better take it back to the dealer if the shop cant fix it. I dont believe the viper300 even has remote start unless you add the 500V system to it. might be cheaper to just get the entire 550 in the first place.

regards

Tim

I was going to get the 550 but really determined that I was not going to use the remote start functionality much. You need to remember to leave on the heat or A/C the night before, etc. Just seems like a waste of money to me.

Maybe if I lived somewhere super cold, it would be worth while.
