I just replaced the clutch in my 4runner and when I press in on the clutch pedle in to put it into gear i have a slight vibration. this only happens in neutral and when i press out on the clutch to go into 1st. Im thinking this might have somethin too do with the thoughout bearing but not sure.
Just wondering if anyone may know what could be causing this.

What kind of vibration? Do you feel it through the clutch pedal? The stick shift? Complete descriptions improve responses.

 

well it has a light vibration with a wineding sound coming from the up around the clutch. With this it has a slight vibration in the gear shifter when the clutch is let off in 1st. it makes a sound that is alot like the sound when you cut your wheels with power strearing. It is just making this sound and light vibration while the clutch is being engaged in neutral and when it is let off in 1st gear.
I'm just wondering if i should drop the transmission and have another look at it again or if it might just be something minor.

If the noise & vibration happens when you press the clutch pedal, most likely it is the throwout bearing. Did you lightly grease the splines on the shaft when you replaced the disc? I would use something like High Temperature Brake Caliper Grease.

can someone please help me? I just replace the clutch the flywheel and both the pilot bearing and throw out bearing I lightly grease the spline and now I have a light vibration when the clutches in gear
