Pics from beach trip this year but It kinda shows you the profile view, If you need better closeups let me know I will snap them this weekend. You can also poke around my albums there lots of other pics along the way.

I've had both kinds on assorted vehicles...in channel is much better IMO. You can remove them when you want, they don't just all of a sudden fly off (the tape lets go) and they don't go on the paint.

Get weathertech in channel vent visors. They rock!

the vents look really good in your truck. This is looks like the final nail in the coffin. In-channel it is.

yeah...the weathertech ones fit LIKE A GLOVE.....

In fact, my truck is #2 - I bought them from Waskilly!

I *can't* see these coming out or leaking in ANY imaginable way!

ive got the stick ok kind....4 months later and still goin strong, i chose them over the in channel because my friend who has a explorer who ride to class with sometimes has the in channel ones, about 3 years old and the rattle and are loose and the driver side one will come out if your not careful

Unless they are hit by something I think the stick on ones will stay on til you remove them.
I talked to my friend who has a set of the in-channel varity that are about 2 years old and he says they are starting to rattle and he's gonna replace them soon with AVS ones.

Even if people have ones that don't rattle it seems that you have a 50-50 chance that your's will be fine or rattle;I'm glad I got the 3M AVS versions instead.
