Vent Visors on 2003 4runner problem

Anybody eles have a problem installing Vent Visor (by weathertech)

Only problem is on drivers window works in regular mode. But when I try to put glass up by the automatic mode it will go completely up but then comes back down and stops half way.

Thanks

I think if you close it without the auto and hold the up switch for about a count of five it will reset and then the auto will work right.

It's because of the anti-pinch feature.

Ray,

Its an easy fix. What is happening is that there is not enough space in between the ventvisor and the rubber window gasket (or whatever its called).

You'll have to make a "shim". I made one out of a sliver of wood and paper. Jam the shim in between the ventvisor and the rubber window gaskets (on each side of each window) and leave overnight. You should not have any problems the next morning.

Or in the INSTRUCTIONS it says to auto up the glass and place your hand in between the glass and window seal, forcing the glass up slower until the auto mechanism 'registers' the 'new' auto stop location. Ah, do what Bob said.
