Question Venom 400?

I've heard some good and bad things about the Venom 400 after doing a little searching around the board and I was wondering if I could get some up to date opinions. Good? Bad? Worth the money? Sounds like it gives you a good little kick, but when? Only at WOT? Could it be bad for the truck? How much of a power increase could you feel. How easy would it install in my truck? (I know, I know, so many questions. ) Thanks, I'd appreciate the help.

I was thinking of getting one untill everyone on here discouraged me from it.

Why? Will a Venom 400 even work on my truck? The oldest I've been able to find is for a 88 pickup.

i looked at the Venom 400 when I owned a Probe GT... the 400 didn't do anything for a manual trans. the 400 changed the shift points for an automatic Probe GT and has the trans shift quicker.
