Valve Cover Bolt Part #

Hi guys!

Doing some engine maintenance and dress up this spring so I have been collecting parts. With a new valve cover being one of the additions, I wanted to order new bolts. I have had no luck through Toyota (surprisingly) finding a part number for these. Are there generic ones I can get that will work (properly sized of course) or can anyone direct me to a part number? Engine is a 1995 3RZ. Thanks!

I am not very familiar with the 3RZ, but here is what I found.

Is this the bolt you are looking for?

I just searched Toyota Parts Overstock and according to their database, the part has been discontinued.

However, Toyota Parts Deal shows them as still being available.

Yes that it is it and thank you for looking that up. I checked my local dealerships part site and it was not listed. Also tried to contact the parts department and they never got back to me after over a week. Do I have any aftermarket options? I am having trouble doing so.

Well, unless it is a special bolt, you can probably run down to your hardware store and match up your old bolts to one of the metric sized bolts. My local ACE Hardware has a pretty good metric selection.

I don't know the size of the bolt off hand, or otherwise I would post it up.

Will I need to get one with the crush type o-rings on them?
