Vacuum lines blocked off on the TB???

Looking around the engine today and I can't figure out why these are blocked off or where they should go...can someone ID these Vacuum lines running from the TB?

Truck is a 1999 Tacoma, V6 4x4.

Never mind, they are EGR vacuum lines...searching the internet looks like many others are not hooked up to anything as well.

Is this for CA trucks only? Mine is in AZ.

They (EGR's) were only used on non OBDII 5VZ-FE, which means prior to 1996. California has nothing to do with it.

They're blocked off on my wife's 96, and my '99.

I'm not sure what they're for, but it's not an indication that something is missing.

Nothing is wrong with those ports capped off with those factory caps. They were blocked off from the factory on my 95.5 that I bought brand new and caps looks exactly the same.

IIRC, I've only seen one, or maybe both, ports used on a Canadian set-up that someone posted here a few years ago.
