I got V-8 SCs for $3999.99! Thats right folks I have tons of them so come on down and get one. For those that are in TX I have them right now for $4500 installed. Anyone interested let me know.

You think we could work up a group buy? There are quite a few 03 Owners who are serious about the SC for the V8, but most people are being kept away because of the current price.

I will give you $2500. It's not worth anymore then that.. I only paid $1700 for my 3.4 S/C.....

 

The group buy just isn't possible with the way we get them from TRD. To my knowledge the only way you guys get that is for the distributor to take a loss on each unit. Unfortunately we don't make jack as it is on TRD parts and thus my Director won't go down. Every once in a while TRD will over stock their warehouse and then offer a ton of them for a great price but not lately it seems. You guys know if I have a great deal ya'll will be the first to know on it. This price is down from $5200 so that is why I figured I would post. If anyone is interested let me know.

As for the $2500, good luck man. The only way I know to get one for that price is a used one and BUYER BEWARE!

FWIW, Todd... I was just yanking your chain. That is a good price and pretty darn fair on the install.

 

Todd - How far are you from Norman, OK? The wife is just got a GX-470 (a gift from her parents) for her Law school car and I want to supercharge it. If it is not too far and she agree's... she loves the S/C in the Runner I will get it installed.

 

Some guy on clublexus.com said TRD has not yet approved it for use on the GX but I think he is full of it

 

Hey man if you are really serious about it I can call Lexus and see what it the SC will run for her car. I can't TRD Lexus parts becuase I don't have a Lexus dealer code, so we would have to go through a local dealer for it. Meaning, more $$$ for the part than if it came straight from me. Let me know what you want to do.

Sorry this is not directly on your subject, but...
Since you are in the Toyota loop, Magnuson told me that TRD is coming out with a piggy back ECM tuner for the Gen-3 5VZ-FE engine Superchargers... any word on that yet?

 

Hmmm, thats a new one on me too. I will call my buddy over there and see if he has heard anything about it. Did they happen to give a price? TRD generally doesn't tell us a damn thing till it is already out. Lemme check and I will post what I find out.

Thank you Todd. No, the engineer at Magnuson could not give me a price, but he was pretty emphatic that the tuner was in the works. TRD is such a disorganized company that it is very common for the right hand not to know what the left hand is doing.
