V6 or 4cyl

So I own a 93 toyota pickup with the 22re with my new job I will be required to get a "nicer" looking truck and it has to 2000 year model or newer and I don't know to much about Tacomas but the V6 for my year model is junk from what I have experienced so my question is Should I get the V6 or 4cyl I'll be driving it all day from house to house hauling some small tools and a large ladder I'll prob end up doing a small lift to run 33s which do you guys think would better suit? plan on spending about 10k-12k for the truck

Either will work fine. Just depends on what kind of mpg you want and/or wooopow from the motor

If you want bullet proof reliable, get the 5vz V6.

If you want easy access to more power then the 4 banger has turbo upgrades within easy reach.

Depends on your tranny pref id say. Definitely go with the v6 if you'd rather auto. Both super reliable. Unless you run into a string of bad luck the 2.7 and 3.4 are hard to break.

Personally, I'd go for the 4 cylinder. Better gas mileage and easier to work on. Good luck!

V6. 4cyl is a 4-letter word in my book.
