hey everyone,
some of you gave the great advice to add coolant to my truck.
and i think that did it!!!!

my heat never turned cold and the idle has been spot on.

so i checked my coolant and i did not see it in the radiator....so i went to checker and got one of the big jugs of 50/50 green coolant(1 gallon size i belive) and started pouring it slowly into my radiator. IT TOOK ALMOST HALF THE JUG to get it about 2 inches from the top of the radiator neck.
then i added some to the overflow to get it to the approprite line and i think that fixed both my problems!!!

im suprised being that low that the truck was not running hot?
well im happy now...thanks everyone who helped.

so now the only 2 small problems i had are gone and my truck has close to 100k on it. goooooooooo toyota.
