i think it probably is covered under warranty, and i'll know more this coming week, but in the very beginning when i had rear diff. problems, they said that since i had a lift kit and went offroading, warranty was void.

I was told when I took my truck in for 15,000 mile tune up that the axle seals are not under warranty if I take the truck offroad, get sand or mud packed up on the seals. The only way I know of to get the seals warrantied is to be sure and clean off everything under the truck before you take it in.

i'm not too worried, i haven't been in sand or mud any time lately, and i don't plan on taking it to a dealership.
