UPDATE: 2001 Runner PASSED inspection
In reference to this thread.
The garage, after heavy tongue lashings by me, has realized the err in their ways and has passed my truck as it should have beeen passed. They did not see the check engine light under my glow gauges. The gauges are cut for the 99 type cluster and the '01 cluster has the light higher up. I had to explain it a dozen times and then go there and point it out. The guy still claimed to not see it so I had to wait for it to get dark out and then it was clear to him. I am relieved but still turned off by the whole incident.
