Angry Turn singnals not working - 1992 4runner SR5

Hey guys,

Well the turn signals stopped working. The truck is a 1992 4runner SR5. The 4 way flashers still work but nothing happens when I turn the signals on in either direction. I've checked the fuses and they all seem OK. I crap with electrics, can anyone help me?

Thanks,

Tim

Well, Maybe that the flasher has gone bad. Should be an easy fix, The flashers cost about $4.00 at any parts store. However they do have an electronic flasher which cost about $11.00, don't much see the benefits of those, however some may say that they're design to last longer.

Does the signal lights use a different flasher than the hazard lights? The hazard lights still work correctly.

thanks a bunch,

Tim

Looking at the wiring diagram it looks like the same flasher is used for hazard and turn signals. If that is the case and the bulbs are working with the hazard switch then that would only leave the turn signal switch as the most likely problem.

I had this with my 98 Tacoma. Turned out to be the Fuse Block. Not sure why it went bad. But the turn signals would only work if I would move the Flasher around.

I can't remember if the Hazards worked or not when I had this problem. I'm thinking they worked fine, that there are two different relays
