Turn signal modification to corner light?

Turn signal modification to corner light?
I remember reading somewhere that someone was able to conver their corner light to be used as the turn signal.
I'm interested in doing this modification as I'd like to get rid of the lower bumper turn signal and replace it with fog lights.
Does anyone or can anyone point me in the right direction?
