Tundra/OME setup install/question ?
#21
WD-40 is all I had that is why I used it, but I am sure it did not help.
Hey, Andy, or anybnody else, where is the best place to get the trimpacker? Questions that comes up before that, is why one of the springs is shorter??? I think this might have an effect on my front slant as well so I will get the trimpacker before the alignemnt..

I will fill up today, and get somebody in the driver seat and measure the height again. From what I was told, it then should be equal. Tommorow I am also getting an alignment (lifetime) so that should take care of the front (I hope).
I think what happened with the CV boot clamps was that they were moved around during the install and probably loosened up. Is there a tool to tighten the original clamps or should I just cut them off and put some hose clamps on?

The alignment will solve all driveability issues, as for the CV boots, mine needed replacing so I had them replaced as well as some heavy duty clamps put on, as of now they are solid and I have not gone back and added the zip ties.
I would just add some zip ties like Andy said and clean off all the grease and monitor it for a week or so, there is TONS of grease in those things so losing a little bit over the next week or so will not hurt you any.
As for the lean, I have a little bit of a lean but I always have so much crap in my Runner I can never tell whether its the shocks or not...either way I don't notice it so I haven't added the trimpacker. Do a search on here and see if you can find out more info on locating it.
I have not done the e-brake bracket or SS brake line yet and I have had no problems, the brake line was never even suggested to me at the time of the install so I haven't thought about it...is it necessary?
Congrats on the lift man...I would get the alignment and zip tie the boots and let it settle for a while and see how things change.

Just to give an update on the status of things.
I have gone and got alignment, and it did resolve my front, lean to one side, issue. The rear still has a lean but I am not going to worry about it not, its not that noticeable. With one spacer the rear is somewhat higher, but my tow hitch is removed and I don't have anything in the back at the moment. I figure during a trip when my back is full things will equal out.
Unfortunately, after 3 tanks of gas, the inner CV's are still leaking. On one side I installed a zip tie, and on the other put a new clamp (crappy Kragen one) with a zip tie, and still grease is coming out between the boot and shaft. I think my next step will be to install some tough hose clams or just go and replace the inner boots. When I was getting my alignment the mech. told me that the reason why they are leaking is that the grease, because its 70K old, and vehicle has been lifted, has thinned down. Now, being more liquid like starts so seep out. I don't know if I should believe the guy. So, any suggestions to help me make a decision on what to do next, would be very helpful. By the way the color of the grease is light gray.

I just thought, I also put some pics of my rig. As always on all of the good stops I did not take a photo, and it was also raining/snowing in Corral Canyon.
By the way, I added a hose clamp to one side, and it seems to have held up the couple hours of freeway/off-road pounding.
