My 5100's arrived yesterday and my Tundra TRD springs should be here today along with my new spring isolators.

Here's my rig: 96 4Runner Ltd. V6, TJM T15 with Warn M8000. I currently have a 2" Cornfed spacer lift and a 2" body lift and would at least like to retain the 2" suspension lift after the 5100's are installed. I also have a diff drop kit installed.

Soooo, with that being said what recommendations do you all have on the spring perch for the 5100's? I've read middle setting and just above the middle setting but I figure that since I have a winch and T15 I need to go one notch above the middle.

For the rear I'll be running the LC coils and currently have OME shocks (will change to Tundra Bilstein shocks later).

It's mainly my DD but I do take the occasional trail when possible and no hardcore wheeling. I'm into expedition type wheeling and mild wheeling so offroad capabilities are a plus and it needs to ride nice too.

Any and all input is greatly appreciated folks.

you don't want to go above the middle perch as that will worsen the ride by reducing travel and increasing spring preload.

just choose the second perch first and if it's a bit low, then you can go to the middle perch. from what i've read, the middle perch gives a 3" suspension lift.
