hey guys my first post on this forum, i came over from 4x4 wire to try to get some help.
My problem is ever since i put my new motor and tranny in i cannot shift 4wd on the fly anymore, when i attempt to shift i can hear the transfer case start to grind. I have ADD and all my vaccuum lines are oriented correct. im not sure what else it could be since ADD really only works on vaccum. My 4wd does work when i stop and shift into it. does anyone know what would cause this. i am getting a code 62 aND 64 for a shift solenoid and lock up solenoid in the transmission, however i can see this having anything to do with the current problem.

 

did the new tranny come from a different truck, the only thing that i can think of is that you got a manual hub truck tranny/tcase and it doesn't have the syncro to spin up the front drive shaft
