The OEM versions are actual die cut lettering but at our dealer they quoted me $48 a side;I'll take $30/pair shipped to my door anyday for the "fake" ones.

Factory TRD decals are printed on clear, they are not individual letters.

I don't have one with me in them but this is when they were new but since then the Sport part did get a couple of streaks through them from something splashing on my truck but they did hold up well over 3 years.

I figure at $25-30 a set it doesn't kill me if they have any issues after a few years and a change might be nice every few years plus OEM doesn't offer as many designs as Streetgraphics does.

Toyota has had the same TRD Off Road decal part #PT211-TT980- ever since the Tacoma has come out till now. Printed letters on a clear backing. The aftermarket solo TRD's may have been individual letters.

How do you think black and red would look on a black truck?

You would want to use the silver/charcoal version. I can print them in custom colors as well.

Black lettering won't show up on a black truck so that might be a bad mix.

IMO, the red/blk/white combo is the best choice for Silver. Just check out my '05 Taco TRD decals on my runner.

Rockslide,I really like what you've done with the addition of the Field unit, powdercoated Tundra brakes and the rollbar in the back since those took a little bit more effort and are effective and seamless and are a touch of what Toyota could've/should've offered in the US;a TRD 4Runner in the US would've been pretty sweet but we just have to make our own.

I ended up ordering the red/white/charcoal stickers but won't have them on til it warms up a bit for longer than a day around here so next month maybe.

Thanks for the compliments. I agree, Toyota should have offered a TRD package w/ a little thrills for the 4Runner. I like the decals you've chosen too. Should turn out nicely.

I've always wanted to see a set of TRD decals that read "JRU" - for Jeep Recovery Unit, in the same letter format as what Toyota used in their TRD decals. I've thought about getting a set printed up, but never really took it any further than that.

I know this a crude illustration of what I'm describing, but not having photshop and taking only 2 mins on MS Paint, this is a sticker I'd like to see. (Just use your imagination for JRU):

Not a bad sticker but I'm going to stick with the Sport version but am going red/silver but can't decide if I want the newer style or the classic design.
I got mine from that same guy, great customer service btw. My address went through on Paypal as my old one even though I had just updated it with the new one, I guess it didn't go through fast enough. Long story short, he kept checking up with me on email making sure everything was ok and he paid to have them re-sent to the new address before he even got the other ones in return mail. I was impressed with how fast he handled all that even though it wasn't his fault. Great guy to deal with

Does anyone have a company they trust for making personalized stickers? I want to make one for the back window of my 4Runner that says:

TRDiesel
Toyota Rare Diesel
