I can't wait..maybe it will drown out that noise some of us V6's are getting..

 

Hey, which 'stealership' did you get yours at? How is their service dept? I am soooo unhappy with mine, Lia, over the serpintine belt thing that I am thinking about using someone else for my warranty work.

 

I got mine at Clifton Park toyota in mechanicville NY.
My noise only comes when I floor the accelarator and I am next to road dividers etc..it's almost like a disiel sounding truck but it is very quiet at idle and normal cruising.
I plan to bring it up at my 5000 mile service..have 3450 miles right now.
From reading Mish's post and others it seems as though toyota thinks it's normal engine sound.

I spoke to a Brian yesterday at TRD who said " We have no plans to make a Cat back system for the 2003 4Runner"....

hmmmm ... wonder if he just meant V8's ?
