Transponder key

Been trying to get a spare made...what a headache! What is the cheapest way to get a spare? I do NOT want to pay $47 for a key and $50 to program! I can get them off ebay for $14 but then still have to pay $50 for programing which may or may not work. Are there any work arounds out there for this?? TIA

I bought mine on ebay. Very cheap and easy to program as well.

Oh yeah, and home depot cut it for free.

Remember that you don't need to search for a transponder for your exact model. Search for one w/ the same FCC code. One for a Tacoma or Land Rover could be cheaper and still work as long as they have the same FCC code.
