Transmission difference between '97 & '01?
My first 4Runner was a 1997 SR5 4WD (auto), but I sold it to get a 2001 Limited 4WD (auto). To my knowledge there is no difference, but it seems like my 01 changes gears differently especially when changing between 3rd and 4th gear. It seems like there is more of a hesitation and push forward. It's hard to explain. Most of the time it seems to shift smoothly, but at other times, it shifts with a hesitation. It does not matter if I am driving normal or getting on it. I have 81K miles on it now, and the transmission was flushed at 60K. Should I be concerned or is it normal? Any thoughts?
