Transmission Cooler Install Question

So I got me a transmission cooler, and went to install is saturday and wow... not much room with what I thought at first was 2 radiators. I have never seen a A/C condenser that big. I am wondering how im going to get the zip ties through and hold the little black end that it snaps to in the 1" gap between the radiator and condenser... that is the first problem.

My question is: Are most people bypassing the existing tranny cooler inlet and outlet cooling only using the new cooler, or is everone adding these as an extra cooler and keeping everything flowing through the stock one also? The only reason I wonder, is b/c i've read 2 posts in the last week of peoples' transmission coolers leaking in with radiator fluid and getting the "strawberry milkshake" tranny fluid. I wonder if its better to bypass and just use the new cooler only (this is what I did for my car's tranny cooler, and it has been running fine).

Thoughts?

Thanks,
-Rob

Do not bypass the existing cooler. Make sure the fluid runs through the existing cooler first, then the aftermarket cooler.

Is this so it is warmed up properly?

Is the driver or passenger side of the stock cooler the inlet/outlet?

Its so that it gets cooled just that much more.

Check this link for pics of the lines

And dont put the tabs on between the condensor and radiator just go all the way through both then cut the excess off so it doesnt hit the fan.
