trans swap help

I have a 90 auto trans (A340H) that died and I am replacing it with a JDM import (not sure which year) from a used parts place. The new tranny is also a A340H, but the connector on the gear selector is different.

I'm hoping to just swap the pins into the new connector, but would like to see a wiring diagram just to make sure the wires are colored the same. Hope it's not some Japanese only model...

Anyone know which year this changed? Is the 4Runner and Truck different? Are there any service manuals available online in pdf or other format?

Duanes7 check this but apparently the tranny has its own service manual

After looking at the switch, I noticed that it is not integral to the tranny, it just rides on the shaft. It's just a matter of removing on nut on the shaft and a mounting bolt and the switch will come off.

I'm jsut swapping the old switch onto the new tranny.
