Actually you called me first and wanted to order our System 7. I can't get the Trek Master shocks as the warehouse in CA is out. So I said it would be a wait.

Just to keep accurate date on YT, our System 1 and 7 DO NOT get stiffer. They are designed to make the IFS work as well as it can off road. Our kits also fix alot of other issues that you may or may not care about being fixed.

If I can't get parts, I will tell you up front. I did not take his order because I could not fill it in a timely manner. At the time I could have upsold him to the TRD Blue shocks, but I did not as I felt the green shocks would suit his needs.

Yes. With 3.5-4" of rear lift the green shocks will be pull completely apart sitting on the driveway.

80 coils and 80 shocks are way outside the box and took an immense amount of R&D to get to work without destroying parts.

Steve, I did not mean to imply anything negative about you, or your lift systems. I do appreciate that you told me that you did not have the parts on hand when I called. I did some additional research and came to the conclusion that the OME kit would probably suit my needs, for what is mostly a highway cruiser, at a lower cost. You were right about the Tokiko Green shocks. They do give a good ride, and the handling is great. It is very obvious by looking at your site that you have spent a lot of time and money researching what works best on a 4Runner off road. The OME kit does not provide anything for adjustment of the panhard bar, or longer brake lines, which you do include in yours. In my case, I have plenty of slack in the lines, even when it gets crossed up, which rarely happens.

You are gonna want to do something about that trac/panhard bar eventually, even for on-road driving. Trust me, after driving mine lifted for years without correcting the trac bar length, I know. I just installed Steve's adjustable bar this past week and I still can't believe what a very slightly longer bar did for the quality of my ride! Amazing. :bigclap: Wish I hadn't been so stubborn and had done something about it years ago!

Nice looking rig! Looks like the BFG's are a tight fit with the upper a arm, but good to know they'll fit. My next mod will probably be 285's.

cujeeprs:

What were the part numbers on your tokiko shocks and struts. I am thinking of putting the same lift on my 2002 4runner. For the price it seems like the most reasonable lift for me as for most of my offraoding is on the beaches of the outer banks. Are you still pleased with your lift?
