toytec ome3 question

im thinking of going with the toytec ome lift and was wondering on your opinions on using stock struts/shocks with it. i have a 97sr5 and was thinking of using the stock dampers to limit droop to save my cv's up front and keep from having to use an extended brake line out back. i know you recommend changing struts when doing this but my reason is stated above, plus i want to save money anyway. this will mostly be onroad...about 85% of the time, with some decent offroading to go fishing and camping.

toytec is a spacer lift right?

If I were you, I would go with the Tundra/OME set up. Its much better. I am in the same boat as you, 85% on road. I love the ride, minus the stiff I would go with the comfort shocks if I had to do it over again.

In addition to the lift you will need the following things:
Diff Drip
E-brake re-locater bracket

Things you might/will need:
Adjustable pan hard bar
Extended brake lines
extended bumpstops
limiting straps(depending on how big you go and what shocks you use)

there are more stuff but I cant remember off the top of my head and Class is about to end for me.

these can be purchased at:
www.sonoransteel.com

this certain toytec lift uses OME 880's and 890's i have the same kit and im running tockico trekmasters, you wont need brakelines or a panhard bar either...my truck is fine and flexes great...if you plan on runnin 285's get a 1-2" body lift cuz them tires will rubb otherwise its a great kit and rides much better than stock!

the ome3 like toyotaoffroad stated is 880s and 890s all around. ill be getting a diff drop along with the kit, and toytec said they'd cut me a deal since i missed the group buy ric organized. the panhard and brake relocator things will be from sonoran, but my concern is using stock shocks/struts. will it be ok to use them as limiting devices to help control excessive droop with the new suspension setup?
