Toyota Truck/4Runner story in 4WheelParts mag.
I leafed through the current 4WheelParts flyer and found a nice write up of the history of Toyota trucks and 4Runners through '86. Check it out if you're interested. It ends with a nice historical quote from a write up of an event at Rubicon that included a 1980 Toyota truck. Apparently, the Toyota silenced a wave of laughter.
