Toyota Electric Locker

Will the 3rd Gen Electric Locker fit the 2nd Gen rear end? Do these units work in the front also?

Thanks for the link...

It mentioned the FZJ80 lockers (as in front and rear) That has solid axles, right. Anyone know what size the front diff is? 7.5" like the IFS diff?

The elocker fits all 8" Toyota axles with some modifacation. It's not just a drop in. There is cutting grinding and welding and wiring involved. Definetly will not work for the IFS front end.

The FZJ80 front locker is an 8" high pinion unit and can be swapped (with housing mods) into a solid front axle pickup or 4runner, however it is not recommended for rear use. The rear is a larger unit and cannot be used, you have to find a locker from a Tacoma or 4runner for that application and you'll still have to do housing mods to fit it. None of the elockers will fit any of the IFS front diffs.
