towing a 4wheeler

towing a 4wheeler
I have an 01 tundra that I've been using to haul my 4wheeler around, but I've been thinking about selling it and buying a little trailer to use with my 97 4runner. My 4runner has a 3.4 with auto trans. I figure the trailer/4wheeler together will be around 1200-1500 lbs. I know the 4runner can pull that, but how enjoyable will it be going up steep mountain hills? Does anybody have experience towing a 4wheeler behind their rig? I don't want to sell my truck, then start wishing that I wouldn't have while going up the steep hills...
Thanks

i just did a 3 hour trip to, and a 3 hour back trip with a 4 wheeler in the bed, pulling a snowmobile trailer with 3 dirt bikes and another quad on it.
For steep hills had to get down into 3rd gear but it was doable... dont want to do it again though...
this is with a 3vze 5spd 4x4 with 4.10s and 32s.
if 3.4s are as good as i keep hearing you should have no issues
