The only T bar tech article I know on cranking them up is here.
http://www.off-road.com/toyota/tech/torsion/

Make sure you buy new bolts before you do this, as sometimes the old ones can snap.
Your dealer may or may not have them in also.

If you do this, it would be cool to document it with pics for our Tech section.

On the shackles, check with Roger Brown of 4Crawler Off Road.
His link is in our Vendor Links on the main page here.

If he doens't have any, I hear AOR's greasable ones are very good.

hmm

forgive my ignorance, corey. what is AOR? what is there url?
do they provide the best shackles? i just need shackles that'll handle the load of a campershell/lumberrack and add an inch~inch'n'a half to level the front if i crank the tbars. thanks again.

Here you go Epic.
http://aor4x4.com/

From what I hear, they are great.
One of the guy's who works there is a member here too, so you might try contacting him through the forum here to get more info.

Look in the membership area at the top of the screen, and look up AOR's profile.
