I want to install a TJM Steel T15 Bumper on my 1997 4Runner, and iv been searching for pics but without any luck i cant figure out if the TJM Bumper will cover up the end of the frame on the 4runner, here is a pic of what iam talking about, ill circle what iam talking about in green.( sorry iam not sure what they are called)

Does anyknow if the bumper covers that up, or has one on their 1996-1998 4runner that could take some good pics and show me?I just dont want to buy the bumper and have those things stick out.

i'm pretty sure those nub things unbolt and the frame brackets for the TJM bolt to the end of the frame.

but i'm not sure.

 

I thought the same thing, but when i looked for some sort of bolts there wasnt any from what i could see, but ill check in my chiltons manual to see if there is anything i dont see. thanks for the fast reply

thanks bob! that really helped alot, so i just unbolt those things off there.I was looking at your 4runner the other day and iam sure you hear this alot but it is really great looking.

Last question about the TJM, I have a Toyota Racing transmisson cooler installed on my 4runner, and iam not sure how far out the TJM bumper will come out, will i have to relocate the TRD automatic tranmisson cooler? The AutoCooler is bolted to the same bolts that hold up the front of the skid plate.

Sorry for asking so many questions, i tried asking people from TJM dealers and they dont respond.

 

that i dont know from experience. hopefully someone will chime in.
