Tires / shocks wet traction
For those of you thinking that your tires may have wet traction issues check you shocks.
I am running some Continental LTX tires (no ˟˟˟˟˟ please came with my TRD and are like new) and these tires sucked when it was wet, lots of wheel spin.
Anyways after having my new Billi's sitting in my Basement for over a month I finally put them on this past weekend. Man what a difference with these tires, they hook up like never before. I did rotate the tires when I did the shocks but I don't think that has anything to do with it, tires are very evenly warn.
Picked up my Billi's for $203 delivered from CabePerformance.
The only issue I had was they didn't come with new rubbers for the front topside mount, I just had my buddy get me some.

i would say to forget the stock jack... get a cheap floor jack, you will thank me later when you use it... a lot of members here have tried to use the stock jack in an emergency situation only to find that it still doesnt lift the truck high enough to do any good....

This is just a guess based on my observations, but I think it has to do with the way the body leans and how it affects the weight distribution, especially in turns. I've noticed that with my front swaybar disconnected, I get a lot more wheelspin as the truck dives more in turns.

sure that has some effects, but I had problems throttling up from a stop light, what was embarrising was my 2.7ltr pulled me hard becuase it could get traction and my TRD couldn't, my buddy was driving the 2.7ltr and was laughing all they way.
Now I can throttle it up from a stop light and she hooks up real well. I was beleiving that this was a tire problem since I have never owned these tires before and what I was reading about other tires on one of the tire threads.
BTW which cooper tires are you running? I am looking at the S/T's as a possible replacement for these, even thou I think I can get another 20-30K out of these tires.
