Tires

Just spoke with the company that's going to put on my new Revos. Said they put Nitrogen in the tires now, no air. No air pressure flucuation, no need to keep checking air prssure, etc.

Anyone know about this?

do a search, its been doen for awhile... yes its good, but you still need to check inflation pressures at least 1 time a month.... because although the nitrogen is awesome, rubber parts leak air and so do valve stems... it isnt something is wrong, but it happens

See if they have helium. Lightening the weight will increase your mileage!!

Not entirely correct.

The reason why they use nitrogen is due to the molocule size. Air will more easily pass through hte permiable rubber. Nitrogen takes loger as the molocule size is larger. You will still need to check the tire pressure because it will change with temp, etc. You can top up the tires with regular air. Costco is the main company that uses nitrogen. They have good information on it in their tire shops.
