this may help you. Sorry it's so big... but I couldn't size it down at all and still have it be readable.

Go with the Bridgestone MT's. I had a set on my 99 taco and now have a set of BFG MT's on 2002 taco. I would say the Bridgestone wear better, ride better, both on and off road, and are an all around better tire. Not really all that impressed with BFG and I have mine sipped as well.

I'm gonna take another look at the Bridgestone's, how do they look on your truck? Anyone had any experience with buckshot's?

Anyway, thanks for the information.

I had never imagined that.

I wonder if there are pictures showing this, I'd like to see what this looks like.

I have heard buckshot mudders are pretty good on the street and the road.

I sold my 99 to a friend and I think he has about 50,000 miles on the Bridgestone MT's and has about 40-45% tread left.

The truck had Firestones when I bought it, needless to say when Firestone and Ford had the whole explorer thing going on I took my tires in. I fought the salesman and only paid $70 a tire for four brand new Bridgestone MT's. I will be putting on Bridgestone when I wear down my BFG's.

I got a set of the goodyear MTR's on my truck, and love them. They are awsome in the mud and on rocks, and have been pretty good in the snow for a wide tire(I have 33x12.5R15's). The only draw back to them is their price, they are loud, and may wear a bit quicker than other tirs(they are very soft). I also had a set of the brigstones(i think at's?) they got about 60,000 miles out of them, but didn't realy like they way they preformed offoad. But it all deprends on what your looking for in a tire.

What in your opinion is the best looking tire?

I basically have narrowed it down to three tires now...

Bridgestone Dueler M/T's
Goodyear Wrangler M/T's
BF Goodrich Mud Terrain M/T's

anymore comments?
