Question Timing question

Okay I replaced my head with oversized valves and a 270 cam and now I can't get my timing right. What happens is when i take off it boggs then goes good after that.

Hey jake thanks. Yeah i did that but to no evail. 850 sounds right to me also but right now i have it at about 1000 or 750 depending on what the truck feels like that day.
I have a LC Engineering adjustable cam gear and so i called them and found out that you have to match up thiers with the stock one and mark it where tdc is.
