My throttle cable is frayed and it needs to be replaced. Ive searched site after site and can't seem to find one.

can anyone direct me to where I can find one easily and what I should be calling it?

1999 Tacoma, 3.4, TRD, manual, 2dr, ext cab.

Your local Toyota dealer can sell you one...

 

I started with Toyota.....and they frustrated me. they couldn't figure out what i was looking for based on my explanation. they ended up giving me the wrong part number and it went nowhere.

 

I am not sure how they could not understand you needed a throttle cable. Did you ask for a parking brake cable? That may screw them up.

 

This is the part number for the cable that goes from the accelerator to.. (IDK if it goes from the pedal to the CC actuator, or if it just goes straight to the throttle body. My guess is the latter)
