for those with Bushwacker flares on a 2nd gen
How did you guys attach your flares on the rear? Did you just screw them down into the sheetmetal or use the existing plastic clips from the fender trim? Thanks

When my brother in-law & I put these on a few years back, we used some of the dimple holes in the flares, and made some of our own holes in them.
We went into sheet metal for all of the screws.
You may have to move the flares around a bit to get a bite into the metal.
They simply don't stick into the plastic on the rig very well.
We did not use any of the holes where those clips fasten to.
Also for the backs, we drilled right into the side bumperett.

You can't see it with the mud flaps on now though, but there are probably around 4 or 5 screws holding the flare into the bumperett.
When I get a custom rear bumper, the flares will have to be cut in the back to mate to it.
Much like Mike did here.

Yup you get to bore sheet metal. That was the only part I didn't like was trying to get a bite into that bumperette I guess you call it.
