personally, i like the ones on the left.

though like i said on t4r if you're at all interested in black ones, kickaha is selling his AR mojave teflons.

but really, i think those wheels on the left would look awesome ...

Thanks 4Route for letting me know about the Teflons. I think they look cool, but since I have the chrome grille, I thought I would get something chrome or a polished look.

if you plan to do any offroading, i would recommend that you get the cheapest rims as possible that are 16x8 w/ 4.5" BS and 0 offset (commonly found). They will fit for sure as that's the size I have along with others. Stick to 16x8's because it'll give you the greatest sidewall thickness since you have more sidewall compared to a 17" rim. tires are cheaper too btw (then again so are the rims). (o yeah, if you do offroad, take them runnin boards off! )

if you plan to stay on the road then dude, get the biggest and baddest wheels possible (larger the better except make sure you don't get too low profile of a tire though).

good luck!

Kenn,

I've always liked the Mickey Thompson Classic II's (with or without beadlocks). I think they have a classic off-road look that looks just as good on-road. I've been considering them myself.

I think it also depends on the tire you plan to wrap around it. An aggressive MT or MT/R will look really nice on the Mickey Thompson wheels. A less aggressive all-terrain or all-season LT tire might be best on the other wheel.

Good luck, let us know what you decide and post pictures of course.

The tires I plan to purchase are the Revos in LT265/75/16 and I plan to add a lift soon also. I might have to agree with you regarding the Mickeys and the M/T. I am not sure what the Mickeys will look like with the Revos. I think the Mickeys are sweet. But I might look at procomps or classic II's. They are a less expensive alternative and look very similar. M/T's are not on my radar for the amount of offroading I plan to do in the future. Mine will be mainly street with some trails, but nothing too xtreme. Also need the snow traction for the times I go to Mammoth Mtn for snowboarding.

Another vote for the M/T style rims on the left, what is the price difference between your two choices? Is that a factor at all?

I think the diff is 40-50 per wheel. MB's are listed on Discount's website, but they have so many sizes and and they range from 100 to 150 per wheel. MTs are listed at 160/wheel.

I think I might go with these, 405 for a set on ebay:
