Taking my T4R back for noise and smell, any ideas of where to look?

I'm taking my 96 4Runner with a replacement engine from a 98 with 61K back to the shop that did the work to have them look at it. I have a very noisy engine bay from what I would say are pulleys and an antifreeze smell. I don't see any fluid on the ground anywhere and the radiator and overflow levels are good.

I'd like to give them a good starting point so if you all know of any notorious engine issues I'd like to let them know. I read on a thread somewhere about a coolant line that goes into the block and maybe a plastic fitting is good for cracking but I can't seem to find that old thread anywhere. Are there any pulley problems or bearing problems I can tell them about also?

Thanks in advance
Jason

Are you looking for the leak with the engine running or off? If off, try looking for it with the engine running and a good strong flashlight. the 3.4 does not have any notorious problems that I am aware off.

Sorry, once I drive it I can smell it at stops. I can't find anything, must be very small hitting the exhaust or something.
