did a search and didnt foind anything... i have an 85 4x2 truck, it has a japanese style bed.... are the tailights the same as the ones on the american beds that are more common?

they are not the lights like on the older like 81 japanese style bed.. they look like the american bed ones.. or are they differnt? ill post a couple pics of what my ligths look like:

 

they look the same as the ones on my 84 pickup. well, i mean without the holes and cracks from trail carnage

now i'm going to duplicate that plate & number and commit all kind of felonies on your behalf just kidding

your truck is an 84 with the american style bed?

 

yup, not only that but i scored a completely rust free bed that i'm going to clean and rhino-line the underside this summer............it'll prolly still rust though. some forces of nature cannot be reckoned with.....( i know, don't end a sentence with a prepostion.)

 

My 86 (american bed) tailights look just like that.



PS: If anyone wants to buy a set or euro lights for their 84-88 pickup, I've got 2 pairs.

 

Yep, they're the same. The local dealer says there is only one part number for (each side) taillights for those years.
