It happened when I was towing a dolley and a bolt that was holding the ball on the hitch came loose, and the dolley started to come of going side to side first, then coming of completely when I was pulling over and was down to about 20mph. Thankfully it didn't hit traffic as it was past midnight.

Right before it came of though, my gauges, tail lights, and corner lights went black. I still have my head lights, turning signals, brake lights, and reverse lights.

At first I thought no big deal it's just a fuse, but after checking every fuse there is, I found out that it's not the problem. Obviously when the dolley came of the back of the truck it ripped the wireing, but it only ripped on the dolley itself. My towing wireing harness is still intact, and seems perfectly fine with no damage at all.

What really sucks is that we had to leave the dolley on the side of the highway overnight because we were about an hour away from home and when we came back the next afternoon we found out that somebody took it. It belongs to my friend, but he paid $500 for it, and is pretty pissed of.

Anyways, do any of you guys have any idea what it might be besides a fuse since I checked them and they are fine. I'm pretty confused

You might have to replace the actual switch there on the left of the steering wheel. Thats what I had to do when I had a similar problem.
